Liggett-Koenig Residential College

Liggett-Koenig Residential College was established in 2006. Liggett House was named in memory of John E. Liggett from his wife Elizabeth Liggett, while Koenig House is named after Edwin C. Koenig. Today, our residential college is affectionately known as LK.

Liggett house contains modern four-person suites with bathrooms in each suite. Each student will have a: XL twin bed frame and accompanying mattress; a three drawer dresser; and a computer desk and chair. The suite is carpeted and a shower curtain is provided.

Additionally, there are study lounges on each floor, a main computer lab,  laundry facilities, a seminar room and a music practice room. Students will be responsible for providing their personal items and toiletries.

  • WeLKome Week
    A week-long programming opportunity during the first few weeks of the fall semester with events including the first MiLK and Cookies of the year to a progressive dinner on each floor of LK.
  • MiLK & Cookies
    Monthly milk and cookies event sponsored by the Liggett and Koenig College Council.
  • Trip to the Fox
    A night where residents have the opportunity to see a Broadway show.
  • LK Knight Pass
    A year-long event that begins mid fall semester, where residents pass around a life-size knight to one another to spread camaraderie and loyalty to living in LK.
  • Finals Week Study Breaks
    A series of study breaks typically held in the Faculty Fellow apartment where students can drop in, enjoy a snack and chat with a professor.
