Data on Health Habits and Behaviors

Highlights of the ACHA-NCHA II 2017

The American College Health Association (ACHA) designed the National College Health Assessment (NCHA) to assess student health behaviors in order to help colleges and universities provide better services and support for students. Health Promotion Services conducted the survey in the spring of 2017 at Washington University in St. Louis on the Danforth Campus.

Twenty-eight percent of full-time undergraduate and graduate students responded, which is a useful sample from a web-based survey. Habif Health and Wellness Center uses the data to compile a thorough needs assessment and prioritize work on behalf of students.
