WUSA Peer Mentor Program

Washington University Student Associates (WUSAs – pronounced “WOO-suhs”) are student leaders who volunteer their time to assist new students through their transition into the university.

In August, WUSAs serve as small group facilitators for a cohort new students based either in residential communities or in the transfer or exchange community and assist with implementing Bear Beginnings: New Student Fall Orientation.

Throughout the academic school year, WUSAs serve as a new student’s primary leader for academic resources and aid with academic, social, and personal transition to college. They achieve this by hosting programs, building individual relationships, and building community amongst new students.
