Position Summary

The Student Website Assistant * is responsible for updating content on websites within the division of Student Affairs, with an emphasis on the Student Experience website, https://students.wustl.edu. This position plays an important role in accurate and timely dissemination of information for the Division and its departments with a focus on incoming and current student audiences.

Primary Tasks

  • Update and create posts, pages and other content on WordPress websites.
  • Create and update web forms using the WordPress Formidable plug-in.
  • Create content that complies with division and university style guidelines.
  • Test and confirm updates to websites.
  • Make requested updates in a timely way and identify and respond to priority/urgent requests for updates immediately.

Training on WordPress and Formidable will be provided.
