The Office of Student Affairs and TRIO Student Support Services is working to connect First Generation college students to First Generation Faculty and Staff as part of our Matched Mentoring Program. TRIO’s Matched Mentoring Program aims widen a student’s network, assist students as they navigate the university, and advise student’s short and long-term career goals. We do not expect faculty and staff members to have all the answers, however, we would like to see participants engage with their advisee and provide support where possible.
