To make an appointment, call 314-935-3445 or contact the RSVP Center by email with “appointment needed” in the subject line. You can also contact a licensed therapist directly: view RSVP staff contact information. When scheduling an appointment, you’ll be asked for your contact information and for a first name or student ID number. You will not be asked why you’re seeking an appointment at RSVP. Our staff will work to ensure that you are seen by a licensed therapist as soon as possible.
The RSVP Center is located on the 4th floor of Seigle Hall in Suite 435, which is only accessible by elevator. This helps us maintain confidentiality for the students accessing our resources. Use the main elevator in Seigle to go to the 4th floor. Once you get off the elevator, turn right down the hallway, following the signs for Suite 435.
When you enter our space, you’ll be greeted by Monique at the front desk. She will ask you which therapist you are here to see so that she can let them know you’re here. If for some reason Monique isn’t at her desk, just take a seat in the waiting area and your licensed therapist will come get you within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time
We aim to provide a private, safe, quiet, and welcoming space at the RSVP Center. There are several exits from the suite. As a center, we aim to ensure that each student feels supported from the moment they enter our space.
During your first appointment with a staff psychologist, they will sign you and give you two forms to sign, taking care to explain what each one means and always providing the ability to opt out when applicable. Sessions last for 50 minutes. As needed, therapists will schedule a follow-up appointment after the first session.
