The Office for Religious, Spiritual & Ethical Life is pleased to announce Interfaith Week 2024. This week features interfaith events, as well as events offered by some of our Religious, Spiritual & Ethical Life Affiliate organizations for those curious to learn more about various traditions and practices. Interfaith Celebration Dinner

February 6, 5:30-7 p.m., Tisch Commons, Danforth University Center

Students are invited to this free dinner celebration. The Isserman Prizes for Interfaith Engagement will be presented to student leaders at the dinner.

The Rabbi Ferdinand M. Isserman Memorial Lecture – Featuring Dr. Otis Moss III

February 8, 7 p.m., Graham Memorial Chapel

This lecture is based on the book, “Dancing in the Darkness: Spiritual Lessons for Thriving in Turbulent Times.” Free and open to the public.

Association of Christian Truth Seekers (ACTS) Friday- Relationship Panel

The Association of Christian Truth Seekers invites you to ACTS Friday. Includes a full home-cooked meal, worship, and a panel of Christians to talk about different kinds of relationships and life advice. Rides leave from the DUC at 6:15 p.m.! All students are welcome.

Interfaith Service Saturday at the Food Pantry

Join the CSC in volunteering at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Food Pantry in North St. Louis. We will meet at the Catholic Student Center (6352 Forsyth Blvd). Transportation provided to/from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Food Pantry at 8 a.m. We will be back on campus at 12:30 p.m. All students are invited to help! Please RSVP.

Come experience our fireside Mass in our cozy living room around the fireplace. The experience includes an opportunity to reflect and share among peers on a question related to the scripture readings for the day. Free homemade soup dinner afterwards with lots of yummy desserts. All are welcome.

Join us for dinner and conversation with Bishop Deon Johnson, the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri. Bishop Johnson is the first Black and first openly gay leader of the diocese. The Rabbi Ferdinand Isserman Memorial Lecture

We welcome The Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III as our speaker for this year’s Isserman Lecture. This lecture is based on Moss’s book, “Dancing in the Darkness: Spiritual Lessons for Thriving in Turbulent Times.” Lecture followed by a reception and book signing in Umrath Lounge. Free and open to the public. Hosted by Office for Religious, Spiritual, and Ethical Life and the Interfaith Partnership of St. Louis.

St. Louis Interfaith Summit

Interfaith Jummah

The Muslim Students Association invites students to be guests at Jummah this week. Jummah is a weekly Friday prayer for Muslims, which will include a Khutbah (sermon) before prayer. WashU students and St. Louis Interfaith Summit guests welcome.
