Dr. Hammer joined Student Health Services in 2019, and accepted the position of Chief Physician, Director of Clinical Services in 2020. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, and completed her training at Barnes Hospital at Washington University. Before joining Habif, she worked for 20 years in a busy clinical practice within the BJC Medical Group here in St. Louis, and has maintained strong ties to Washington University’s School of Medicine. Dr. Hammer has a particular interest in developing strategies to improve the clinic’s equitable delivery of health care, and is passionate about preventive medicine and helping patients to develop long lasting wellness strategies for themselves.
