Sally Pinckard currently serves as an SMP and Online SMP Career Coach. She
has been in various career coaching roles at WashU for 15+ years as an MBA
and BSBA Career Coach, Associate Director Career Education, and instructor
in the business school. Prior to coming to WashU, Sally was the head of
Organizational Development for May Department Stores (now Macy’s) and
held recruiting, training, and buying positions. She started her career as a
special education teacher. She is passionate about community involvement
and is a member of the boards of Logos School and Landmarks Historic
Preservation Association, a docent at the Frank Lloyd Wright House Museum,
and served on the CityArchRiver 2015 Arch Restoration Citizen Advisory
Board. Sally received her Strategic Human Resources Management (SHRM)
certificate from Harvard University and a BS in Special Education from Illinois
State University.
