Nat Hilterbrand

Nat Hilterbrand is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the field of higher education and diversity and inclusion. Currently serving as the Director of the Spectrum Office and Associate Director of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion at Washington University in St. Louis, Nat is committed to creating inclusive and equitable environments for all individuals. Nat has spent ten years working within diversity and inclusion spaces, demonstrating a deep understanding of the importance of fostering diverse perspectives and promoting inclusivity.

Nat holds a Masters in Student Personnel Administration from Saint Louis University, as well as a Bachelors in Liberal Studies from the University of Missouri St. Louis. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Nat has also received specialized training in Advanced Intergroup Dialogue, CliftonStrengths Coaching, and Promo’s Paradigm of Pride community organizing program.

Outside of their professional life, Nat is a devoted co-parent to three teenagers and three pets. They are also an avid crafter, using their creativity as an outlet for self-expression. When they are not in St. Louis, Nat can be found exploring new cities through their stomach and trying not to take life too seriously.
