Missy (she/her) is excited and grateful to serve on the WashU Cares team as a Case Manager. Most recently, she worked as an adolescent therapist at a local therapeutic high school. Prior to this, she served as the Care Manager in Habif Health and Wellness here at WashU. In terms of education, Missy received a B.A. in Sociology from Indiana University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Brown School of Social Work at WashU. She is passionate about empowering students to take an active role in their wellness while also acknowledging the systemic and internal barriers that might exist.
When not at work, you can find Missy curled up with a good book, drinking iced coffee and/or pampering her rescue animals (one dog and two cats). Missy is looking forward to meeting with you.
