Emelia joined Disability Resources in September 2022. Emelia’s primary role is coordinating Disability Resources’ test proctoring services, partnering with faculty, students, and DR student-staff to facilitate assessments requested to be taken with DR.
Emelia graduated with honors in Classics from Austin College (Sherman, TX) in 2013, and earned her Masters in Arts of Teaching in 2014. Prior to working in Disability Resources, she spent 7 years teaching high school Latin in Dallas and St. Louis with an emphasis on balancing academic rigor and fostering positive educational environments. Emelia hopes to bring this dynamic to DR’s Testing Center.
