Dalemarie Johannesson

Dalemarie is a fourth year doctorate student in Clinical Psychology at Ponce Health Sciences University and a Psychology Practicum Trainee at the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services. Her past training experiences are with forensic psychiatric populations, children and young adults with educational and behavioral concerns, and patients with eating disorders in intensive outpatient treatment. She has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family-Based Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy groups, group processing, diagnostic clarifications, and cognitive assessment. Her clinical interests include sports psychology and student athlete mental health, disordered eating, perfectionism, identity and LGBTQ+ experiences, depression, and anxiety. Her psychological orientation is humanistic/client centered, using warmth and understanding as guiding tools in therapy.
