Bear Adventures gives WashU students the opportunity to get off campus and experience some of the best attractions in the St. Louis region.

Register for Bear Adventures on the online store. Bear Adventures trips are only open to WashU students and other members of the Sumers Recreation Center.

Yoga Under the Arch

Saturday, September 18, 9:30 a.m-1 p.m

Meet at Sumers at 9:30 a.m.  We will be using the metro stop at Big Bend to head downtown STL to beautiful Gateway Arch Park where we will have a Yoga class under the arch followed by a picnic lunch and hang out before we head back to campus.
Cost: $5

Hike Lewis & Clark Trail

Saturday, October 23, 9a.m.-2 p.m.

Lewis and Clark trail loop is a 5. 2 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near St. Charles, MO.  It is one of the most scenic hikes in the metro St. Louis area.  We will enjoy beautiful views of the Missouri River and stop along the way for a packed lunch.
Cost: $5

When the cost of WashU Rec services or activities prevent an individual from participating, we offer financial assistance. Requests for assistance should be submitted to this email address.

All Bear Adventure trips are nonrefundable.
