Bear Adventures gives WashU students the opportunity to get off campus and experience some of the best attractions in the St. Louis region.

Register for Bear Adventures on the online store. Bear Adventures trips are only open to WashU students and other members of the Sumers Recreation Center.

Top Golf-Undergrad Only

Sunday, February 20, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

We are spending Sunday morning enjoying Top Golf climate-controlled hitting bays for a few hours picking and playing from more than a dozen games. Using Top Golf’s complimentary clubs or your own, take aim at the giant outfield targets and our high-tech balls will score themselves.

Cost: $15

Top Golf-Grad/Professional Students Only  (must be 21 or older!)

Sunday, February 27, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

We are taking our Grad and Professional students out for a Sunday Funday!  We will be spending Sunday morning enjoying Top Golf climate-controlled hitting bays for a few hours picking and playing from more than a dozen games and enjoying a little brunch. Using Top Golf’s complimentary clubs or your own, take aim at the giant outfield targets and our high-tech balls will score themselves.

Hike and Lunch at Castlewood

Saturday, April 2, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Come spend your day with us at Castlewood State Park! With nearly 17 miles of trails, Castlewood offers some of the best variety of riding in the area. From the flat and curvy along the Meramec river, to the numerous climbs and downhills on the bluffs, there’s something here for everyone. We will spend our day hiking and exploring along the Meramec River and Cedar Bluff and enjoying and outdoor picnic along the way!

Ryze Adventure Park

Saturday, April 16, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

This 4-story adventure tower includes 110 unique elements ranging from an easy sky bound walk to full-fledged daredevil obstacles. It’s the ultimate jungle gym experience that’s an exhilarating challenge for all ages, levels and abilities. We have obstacles ranging from easy, intermediate, difficult, to expert. Each obstacle is color coded on the Adventure Tower for clear identification. Work your way up the levels, or leap to another activity.

Cost: $15

When the cost of WashU Rec services or activities prevent an individual from participating, we offer financial assistance. Requests for assistance should be submitted to Rec teams.

All Bear Adventure trips are nonrefundable.
