Part 2: Eligibility Criteria

The following questions will help TRIO staff determine whether you are eligible to participate in the TRIO program. If you have questions about eligibility, please reach out to TRIO Student Support Services
What will your enrollment status be in Fall 2023?
Are you a new transfer student? *
Are you a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident? *
Are you a First Generation student?

This means that neither parent/guardian you lived with in high school has not received a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. Or, a student who, prior to the age of 18, regularly resided with a received support from only one parent and whose supporting parent did not receive a baccalaureate degree. Or, an individual who, prior to the age of 18, did not regularly reside with or receive support from a natural or an adoptive parent.
