Emily Brinkmann, CPC

Emily Brinkmann currently serves as Assistant Supervisor, Insurance/Billing/Collections. She joined Student Health Services in October 2018, and she focuses on helping students who are navigating the health care system, many for the first time. Prior to joining WashU, she worked as a biller and coder in a local neurosurgery office for three years, earning her Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certificate in 2017. Emily graduated with a B.A. in History and an M.A. in Education, both from Truman State University. She taught high school history for three years before transitioning to medical billing and coding.
