Christopher Blake

Chris Blake has truly worked to become involved during his senior year and this involvement will leave a legacy to future Black male students at WashU. He served on the executive board of the newly formed Black Men’s Coalition (BMC) which focuses on providing a more holistic experience to Black men through their educational, social and professional leadership opportunities.

Chris was also instrumental in the re-chartering of the Iota Kappa Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., the only National Pan-Hellenic (historically Black) Greek organization to be chartered at Washington University in St. Louis. This organization has also been instrumental in the “My Brother’s Keeper” campaign, which focuses on providing support for underrepresented and under-served men, and was adopted by President Barack Obama in 2015.

Chris has been hired to work for the WashU College Corps program after graduation and has an interest in Student Affairs.
