Washington University’s Virtual Thanksgiving Weekend

We know that many of our students are planning on staying on campus for the Thanksgiving Holiday. If you are one of those students, we invite you to participate in some of our Washington University virtual community activities that are planned throughout the weekend!

Please take a moment to review the schedule previewed below. Some events require a pre-registration.

Stop by the Thanksgiving “HOME” Base November 26-28 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. to pick up a full schedule of the weekend’s events, collect supplies, participate in the ongoing community building and to check out the leaderboards of various activities.

NOVEMBER 26-28

Thanksgiving “HOME” Base

Stop by the Gratitude Tree at any time during the weekend to add a “leaf” of thanks to the tree. Post your thanks online for the Gratitude Posting Campaign.

Want to send some words of thanks home or to family and friends outside of campus. Postcards and stamps provided.

 

 

 

Pumpkin pie recipeFavorite Thanksgiving Recipe Book

Dozens of recipes were collected and consolidated and which will be  distributed in the form of a “book”.   Pick yours up throughout the weekend to try some home-made recipes!

FIRST 50 STUDENTS TO RSVP

Come join a paint night class from the comfort of your own room. Register here and we will supply the paint, canvas, brushes, and a live synchronous artist to walk you through step-by-step how to paint a true masterpiece.  Supplies are limited to the first 50 students who RSVP, so sign up now via WUGO.wustl.edu!

Pick up your materials at the Thanksgiving “HOME” Base any time before the event

Return your Painting to the Thanksgiving “HOME” Base on Saturday to participate in the “gallery” and qualify for a participation prize of a $100 gift card to Michael’s Craft Store.
