The Career Center would love to help facilitate a program with your residence hall or student group. We’re happy to come to your general body meeting, floor meeting, or plan a separate event.

Pick a popular program we’ve done in the past, or we’ll work with you to create a custom program that matches your group’s interests and style. Custom programs can fit any timeframe; standard programs are generally a half hour or full hour. Unless otherwise noted, programs fit any size group.

INTERVIEWING STRATEGIES WORKSHOP - Learn how to prepare for interviews, what employers are looking for, and practice crafting your answers to common interview questions. Or your group can practice interviewing with our interactive "Improv for Interviewing" workshop.

JOB/INTERNSHIP SEARCH STRATEGIES - Our best tips for how to execute an effective and efficient job or internship search.

RESUME/COVER LETTER STRATEGIES - Ranges from guided peer-review, workshopping, and tips (for larger groups), to one-on-one resume or cover letter feedback (for smaller groups).

SELF-ASSESSMENTS - Take the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (personality-based assessment) or StrengthsQuest (strengths-based assessment), and we’ll lead a discussion on the results.
