Office of International Students and Scholars

International students have a full range of services available to them through the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS). Advising, specialized orientation, access to communities that can help you thrive: all this is is waiting for you.

In addition to assistance with changing immigration policies and law and other aspects of your arrival in the U.S., OISS offers many ways to maintain your well-being while at WashU. These include tips on getting around campus and St. Louis, obtaining a driver’s license,  employment opportunities, resources to combat racism and discrimination,  avoiding scams and other information tailored to an international student’s experience. Check out the OISS Newsletter for current topics that can help you acclimate and feel at home on campus. And don’t forget to check out the many events and workshops offered by the OISS
