A lot of things about this school year look and feel different. But, one thing that has not changed is our commitment to staying connected. Whether you are on campus, studying remotely, or outside the U.S., here are the several different ways we have committed to staying connected with you.

  1. OISS Newsletter: The Newsletter goes out digitally (WashU email) every other Friday throughout the academic semesters and covers important current topics and/or engagements. The Newsletter is always worth glancing through as we share important updates on immigration, changes in the office or other areas of engagement that impacts International Students.
  2. OISS Bulletin: The Bulletin is how OISS shares information about events, programs and activities that are happening around campus. The Bulletin also goes out digitally (WashU email) but does not go out routinely like our Newsletter. We will send out a Bulletin periodically throughout the academic semesters as we have events and happenings to share. The Bulletin is also a great way to share information about any activities, events, programs or clubs you are involved in. Have information you’d like to share with all international students? Email, Lara Jennings on how to submit information to the OISS Bulletin.
  3. Online Event Calendars: Find upcoming events hosted by OISS on our WUGO page and our OISS Eventbrite page! These are our online calendars that help you get connected to the events we host. WUGO is designed for student use only and helps you connect to many different types of events happening around campus.
  4. Find us on Social Media: By connecting to us on social media, you will be sure to stay up to date on all the extras that our office has to offer. We will put many reminders about upcoming workshops, announcements, and sharing stories with each other. You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter!

OISS will continue to send out emails to all students on all pertinent information and we of course still offer (virtual) walk in hours every Monday-Thursday, 1:30-3:30 p.m. to speak with your OISS Advisor.
