Making an Appointment Online
Habif Health and Wellness Center uses Student Portal, an integrated method for students to schedule, cancel or reschedule an appointment. Online appointments via Student Portal are recommended for the most efficient service.
Next-day medical appointments open up all night long after 6 p.m. If you don’t see a next-day appointment available at first glance, check back during the evening when more appointments open up each hour.
Same-Day Medical Appointments
We often have same-day appointments online. If you do not see one available, and you are in need of more immediate medical attention, please call 314-935-6666 or 314-935-4959 during regular hours to speak with a triage nurse.
About Your Appointment
It is important that you come prepared for your appointment and are on time.
- Bring a list of any medications you are currently taking and any known food or drug allergies
- Arrive at least 15 minutes early (so that you have time to get checked in and be ready for your appointment at its scheduled time). This allows our providers to better serve you and remain on time for students scheduled following your appointment as well.
- Appointments may be forfeited if you are more than 15 minutes late.
- Use the self-check-in station when you arrive.
- Depending on the nature of your visit, there may be a fee or co-pay. Check the fee schedule to see what the charge will be for your appointment.
Canceling an Appointment
If you cannot keep an appointment, please cancel so another student may use that time.
Use the Student Portal to cancel and/or reschedule your appointment 24 hours prior to your originally scheduled appointment time.
Please note, a $20 fee will be billed to your Student Account for all missed appointments. If you do not plan to keep your appointment, please cancel as early as possible.
What to Do when Habif is Closed
A virtual health care provider is always available for urgent conditions when Habif is closed.
TimelyCare is a free service for all students who pay the student health and wellness fee and will be available via the TimelyCare app. Students should register for the TimelyCare app using their WUSTL email account.
These providers do not have access to the scheduling system or information from your personal medical record. Please do not use Timely for routine appointments or test results.
Some visits to Habif may come with associated co-pays or additional fees. Consult the co-pay schedule to see the costs or certain visits, and learn which services are available for free. Fees are higher for students who visit Habif and are not members of the Student Health Insurance Plan.
Nutrition services are available by appointment. Students can meet with a dietitian to talk about a variety of nutritional needs, including weight management, food allergies, diabetes management, eating disorders and nutrition for performance. Before your appointment, keep a food journal of what you eat and drink for two to three days.
