Travis Tucker Jr. currently serves as the Director of LGBTQIA+ Engagement and Associate Director at the Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) at Washington University in St. Louis. In this dual role, Travis also leads the development of services for WashU’s growing LGBTQIA+ community while overseeing the day to day management of the CDI. He previously has held positions as the Assistant Director of Leadership and LGBTQIA at WashU, and the Coordinator of LGBTQIA Resource Center at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Before his transition into DEI work, Travis worked in residential life as a Hall Director at Southern Illinois University Carbondale for University Housing. Travis has a degree in Political Science from The University of Akron and a Master’s Degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Miami (OH) University. Travis currently lives in St. Louis, Missouri with his husband Braden and their two dogs, Reno and Dot.
