Roy Ferguson

Career Consultant

I’m a WashU alumnus with a Masters in Computer Science (’90).  I have spent most of my career in software engineering. Additionally, I founded a successful Software-as-a-Service company and can speak to the entrepreneurial heart. I know personally the challenges associated with recruiting, interviewing and retaining talented technologists and I’m excited at the prospect of working with aspiring engineers and computer scientists as they continue their professional journey.

What phrase or sentence explains how you define success?

I define success as having achieved an outcome wherein each of my clients achieves their desired outcome — whether that outcome is a job at a particular company, in a particular field, gaining experience with a specific technology, or identifying and crafting a meaningful and fulfilling career path.
