It’s a privilege for me to play a role in Career Center constituents’ journeys. Having worked as a government scientist and in academia, I have experience on both sides of various types of hiring processes. I’m eager to connect and consider how my experiences can help inform and assist others on their path to fulfillment.
First post-college job?
My first post-grad school job was with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, where I worked as a Forensic Chemist. While at ATF, I had the opportunity to connect with law enforcement, Department of Defense partners, explosive detection canine teams and other scientists through workshops and training programs. This sparked my interest in teaching and served as the foundation for my work in higher education.
