Justin Bowman, MA

Disability Resources Coordinator

Justin Bowman joined Disability Resources in May 2021, following completion of his Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Utah State University. In his role as Coordinator, Justin assists students through the process for establishing disability-related accommodations, and seeking resources to support their access and inclusion whether in the classroom, Residential Life, or in WashU’s multitude of involvement opportunities. In his short time with WashU and Disability Resources, Justin has particularly embraced DR’s “other duties as assigned” role.

Justin has a long history of experiences with disabled people, both in his personal and professional life. Prior to transitioning into post-secondary disability resources, Justin was a Job Discovery Program Instructor in Las Vegas, NV, where he provided job coaching for high school students with disabilities, helping students obtain and maintain meaningful employment. As a component of Justin’s degree program at Utah State University, he completed a year-long internship at Disability Resource Center at University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV).

Outside of work, Justin enjoys reading and watching movies, and spending time in nature with his dog, Truffles.
