James Bernhardt, MPH, MBA

Career Consultant

My academic background includes undergraduate coursework in Psychology and Bioscience. I earned my MPH from the University of Washington and MBA from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. I have completed certificate programs in supply chain management, epidemiology, and STD/HIV research. I have lived and worked in East Africa and the Caribbean and have evaluated the effectiveness of public health programs in West Africa and Southeast Asia.

I enjoy working with students who want to make a difference in the world and are interested in exploring what that means for them. My path to and through the field of public health has included many chapters and I encourage students to enjoy the journey.

I spend most of my free time adventuring with my daughters, Denver and Lincoln. We enjoy finding bugs, picking flowers, raising chickens, doing puzzles, making messes, and eating ice cream.
