Dr. Wichelman joined Medical Services in 2002.  She received her medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the combined program of George Washington University/Georgetown University/University of Maryland. She has trained residents and medical students in Emergency Medicine and provided health care in rural areas of Alaska and to hill tribes in Thailand. She serves as Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Washington University’s School of Medicine as well as Course Director of the Mini-Medical School, a science education course offered to the public. She is also co-coursemaster for Olin Grand Rounds: The Business and Practice of Medicine at the Olin School of Business.
