Andrew Koch manages day-to-day operations, use and care of indoor and outdoor athletic and recreational facilities, and coordinates internal special events and game management. He spent 2006-07 as the assistant facility manager before moving into his current role in 2007-08.
He came to Washington University after spending three years at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Koch served as the administration/event management intern in 2003-04 before being promoted to administration/event Management graduate Assistant in July 2004. He was also the director of parking for athletic events for two years and supervised 125 students.
A Springfield, Ill. native, Koch received his bachelor’s degree in recreation, sports and tourism from the University of Illinois in 2004, and a master’s degree in educational organization from Illinois in 2005.
