Aeryel Williams, Ph.D.

Training and Education Specialist

Dr. Aeryel Williams comes to WashU with a wealth of experience in both academic affairs and student affairs. She has engaged, advocated, and supported students through her work in diversity and inclusion, residence life, student leadership development, conduct, academic advising, and recruitment. Additionally, she has worked at several institutional types including PWIs, HBCUs, HSIs, as well as public, private and not-for-profit. In the Fall 2020 semester she was brought on as an external consultant to advise the Co-Curricular Advisory Board within the Office of Campus Life and is excited to continue developing an equitable co-curricular experience within the Center for Diversity and Inclusion as the Education and Training Specialist.

Additionally, she is a two-time graduate of the University of Central Florida, earning a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies (’12) and a Master’s in Nonprofit Management (’15). In addition to that, she earned a second Master’s from Nova Southeastern University in College Student Affairs (’15). And most recently, she completed a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Louisiana State University (’20).
