The application cycle for 2019-20 has closed. Please check back in spring 2020.
Complete all sections of your portion of the online application and submit by the deadline. Keep in mind that your recommenders cannot submit their letters until you have completed your portion of the application. When you submit your application, an email will be generated to your recommenders at which time and they will be able to upload their document (Word or PDF) to our website. You will be required to complete your part of the application in one sitting; you cannot save and come back to it.
Check to make sure your application has two recommenders; at least one must be from a faculty member and a second from another member of the Washington University Community. You should select recommenders who are familiar with your academic record and leadership activities. Members of the Undergraduate Selection Committee are not eligible to write recommendations.
It is your responsibility to check that your application file is complete. You may contact James Parker at email@example.com for that information. Your file should contain the completed online application form, your one-page resume, your essay responses and identification of two recommenders on your behalf. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
The date for interviews by the selection committee for semi-finalists will be communicated. The finalists will also be interviewed by the current Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees.
If you have questions about the student representative position, please contact James Parker at 314-935-4526 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: Students chosen to be Undergraduate Representatives to the Board of Trustees will receive the meeting dates for the upcoming academic year.
In addition, you will serve on the Undergraduate Experience Committee which meets on the Thursday prior to the full board meeting from 4 – 6 p.m. You will also have an opportunity to serve on other committees.
Students not selected for the Undergraduate Representative position will also be considered for the five student representatives on the Undergraduate Experience Committee of the Board of Trustees or the two student representatives to the Educational Policy Committee of the Board of Trustees.
