The WashU Office of Recreation will celebrate NIRSA’s Recreational Sports & Fitness Day (Rec Day) on Monday, Feb. 22 with the following programming.
WashU Rec will give out a free T-shirt to all students who shows up for a registered visit to the Sumers Recreation Center or Millstone Pool throughout Rec Day. Check out the COVID operations page for more information about registering for a visit.

BEARFIT On demand
WashU Rec will open registration for a free BearFit On-Demand workout video series. Each week throughout the month of March, WashU Rec will release three new video workouts to registered participants on Box — a strength and conditioning workout, a mobility and core workout, and a high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout.

In honor of Black History Month, WashU Rec’s team of BearFit instructors have curated a Spotify playlist featuring songs by Black artists that inspire their workout playlists.
Love Your Body
WashU Rec has shared daily body positivity quotes on social media ever since Valentine’s Day and asked followers to share their favorite quotes as well. WashU Rec will share submitted “Love Your Body” quotes across social media channels for an extra boost of positivity on Rec Day.
